Breakthrough technologies are often difficult to communicate because their most important advantages are hidden inside the engineering. Illustration can reveal not only how a technology works, but why it matters.
Founded by chemical engineers David Mackanic and Joe Papp, Anthro Energy develops flexible, non-flammable batteries designed to overcome the limitations of traditional battery technologies.
For their fundraising and investor communication, we created a series of illustrations showing both the internal structure of the technology and the possibilities it enables. From molecular composition to real-world applications, the visuals highlight the key advantages of Anthro’s batteries: flexibility, safety, and the new possibilities they unlock across industries.
By translating complex material science into clear visual narratives, the illustrations help communicate the potential impact of the technology beyond the laboratory.
